Emotes are character and ship animations that can be triggered by the player, including dance moves needed for “Dance Party!” and “Nimbus Dance Competition”.

Use

Emotes can either be accessed via the icon in the bottom right of the chat window, then the emote option. This menu can be pinned to the screen and expanded. Emotes shown in grey are not unlocked for your character (see "source" on the list below).

Alternatively, they can be typed directly into the chat box through the following / console commands.

• Command syntax is /emote <EmoteText>
• Examples:/emote dance_basic | /e dance_basic | /emote_notext dance_basic
• Note: /emote can be replaced with /e, /em, or simply ;
• /emote_notext prevents text from being displayed
